The movie ‘Dunki’ is known to be a comedy immigration drama with a lot of emotions and a little bit of romance. Previously the film was titled “Return Ticket”, but was changed to Dunki prior to the title announcement teaser in April 2022.

The plot of Dunki is based on ‘Donkey Flight’, a term commonly used for the border immigration issue. To simply put, Donkey Flight is an illegal method, a backdoor route of entering a country abroad via several stops in other countries. It is a popular method that many youngsters use every year to enter their decided country illegally after failing to visit a legitimate way.

According to various reports, Dunki is a story of a Punjabi boy and his adventurous journey to reach Canada using the Donkey Flight method. As per one of Shah Rukh Khan’s interview, the narrative of Dunki is about people who wants to come back home after getting their calling.

The movie has been filmed in different parts of the world, including Jeddah and Neom in Saudi Arabia, Doha in Qatar, Sharjah in UAE, and Kashmir in India. The estimated budget of the movie is Rs. 100 crore (approximately).

He is paired opposite Nayanthara, the lady superstar of South Indian cinema marking her debut Hindi movie. The story of Jawan is based on a man who is consumed by personal revenge to straighten out all the wrongs in society while keeping a promise he made years ago. He fights against an evil bandit with no fear. Though not much has been revealed about the film, the first look poster looks promising, suggesting that the movie is going to be high on action as well as entertainment.

King Khan’s decision to collaborate with Atlee came as a great surprise for fans. Initially, the actor-director duo kept the project under wraps and refrained from saying anything officially. Only after finishing shooting the major portions of the film the project was announced.

The movie was shot in various parts of the country, including Mumbai, Pune, Rajasthan, Aurangabad, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The movie budget is estimated at Rs. 220 crore. Jawan is scheduled to release in theatres on September 7, 2023, on the occasion of Janmashtami. The shooting of the movie is completed and is currently in the post-production stage. Earlier, the film was scheduled for a theatrical release on 2 June 2023. However, for some reason, it got delayed. The trailer for Jawan will be launched on July 12. The biggest action entertainer of the year will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
